At the place I work, we write up on the board what we are doing for whatever break is really close.
Here's our responses to what we're doing for spring break :) It makes me really happy because I was the first one to write it, and now everyone else has written around it. :)
Tomorrow I'm having a community builder for my residents entitled Eggs and STDs, where we'll dye eggs and conduct an experiment demonstrating how easy it is to get an STD if you're not careful!
I boiled the eggs tonight so they would be ready for tomorrow :) I'm pretty excited (I might have eaten a couple...they're sooooo good! :))
I recently bought a roulette wheel from Target.com for a RA event coming up.
On Friday, they sent me this strip of rubber, seen above. 1. The packing label said it was supposed to go to Maryland 2. The packing label said it was supposed to be a card shuffler 3. It's neither of those things, and the people on Target customer service SUCK.
This picture is a little late, I know. Today's picture was not taken today, but is rather a relic from last J-term when I went to Costa Rica with BV. It's a picture of me and mi madre de costaricense, quien deseo fue aqui ahora. :) Cassandra and I talked about Costa Rica today, and how much fun it was, and it made me miss it :( So this made me happy to see! :)
And here's a photo from yesterday as well, which is going to be today's real photo:
I spent most of the day at Glass Slipper shop yesterday, where people donate their gently-used prom dresses, and they are resold to teens who are not able toa fford the really expensive prom dresses. All of the proceeds go to the Centers Against Abuse and Sexual Assault, and for breast cancer research. Overall, it's an amazing event that I love volunteering at :)
Did I say an even longer hiatus might happen? Because it did.
SORRY!
So, here's todays photo:
Last night, a group of us from my RA staff went down to the SNUGGIE PARTY! :) We had a dance off, some karaoke, a funny game of twister, and tons of other fun events.
